Jennifer has been focused on helping small firms grow through lateral acquisition, often with lawyers coming from larger platforms. Coming from BigLaw herself, Jennifer is able to work side-by-side with candidates as they prepare to make the leap, and to strategize with small law firm clients on how to most effectively target and recruit the right talent.
Jennifer Bennett is a legal recruiter who has spent her entire career hiring and integrating lawyers and groups of lawyers into law firms - mostly from the inside. She's helped hundreds of partners, associates, and senior staff across the country find their professional home at law firms ranging in size from 5 to 1500+. Jennifer understands the nuances of moving candidates, groups and firms through unique hiring and onboarding processes, and the critical importance of building consensus along the way.
Jennifer has held senior recruiting roles at Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath, Goodwin Procter, Paul Hastings, and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. She is an East Coast native, but escaped the frozen tundra shortly after graduating from Cornell University in 1997.
